POSSIBLE PROBLEMS DURING APPLICATION AND TROUBLESHOOTING

If the fusing is unbalanced

  • When the fusible interlining is thorn apart, if the dispersion of the coating powder remained on the base cloth is not homogeneous, then the press cylinders might have corroded
  • Do the fusing application in different parts of the press. If you end in varied results, contact with the press machine manufacturer or the technical service.

Bowing because of shrinkage

  • Compress the cloth. Check the shrinkage difference with another cloth, cut in the same dimensions.
  • If there is no problem with the cloth, fuse the interlining with the compressed cloth, and check the shrinkage difference with another interlining, cut in the same dimensions. If the shrinkage against heat exceeds the standards, contact to the related person from the help desk.

Effusion of the coat over the cloth or fusible interlining

  • If the effusion is over the cloth, reduce the temperature of the press lower resistance.
  • After that decrease the pressure and increase the speed.
  • If the effusion is over the fusible interlining, reduce the temperature of the press upper resistance.
  • Decrease the pressure.
  • Increase the speed.

Bad fusing and bad handle after the application

  • In this case, it means that, because of the over heat and the low pressure, the coat was separated from the fusible interlining but was not transferred to the cloth successfully. Thus, the coat becomes a hard layer between the cloth and the interlining and without fusing to the cloth, it worsens the handle.

If risings occur on the shirt after washing then it means

  • The press compression is low; coat transfer is not at the adequate level.
  • The press speed is too high and the fusing is not reliable.
  • The press temperature is too low and the fusing is not reliable.
  • The interlining coat level is low and the fusing is not reliable.
